Mr. Uwa Edomwonyi Mr. Richard Davis Distinguished Fathers of the Week

The Women of Bethany are dedicating the entire month of June to the wonderful Men of Bethany because they are SO special and exemplify the qualities of good men and good fathers. For the past two Sundays, we have announced and introduced two special fathers who embody the picture of ‘distinction’. Join us at 10am on Father’s Day as we announce the final gentlemen for "Fathers of Distinction".

Scholarships for High School Grads

Calling all High School graduates. To date, only a couple of you have submitted your information to the Church. In order to receive your Bethany scholarship, you MUST submit the following information to the Scholarship Committee IMMEDIATELY by visiting the Church Clerk’s office or by emailing the committee:
scholarshipfund@bethany-newark.org:

- Name
- Email
- Phone
- High School name
- Intended college (if known)

The Mid-Week Filling Station - Noon Day Service
Every Wednesday 12:00 noon

Come and join us in the Chapel with praises of songs, scripture, homily and testimonies. Prayers are offered for those in need, including the sick & shut-in. You will hear interesting stories about life experiences shared by all. Come once, and you will become a regular!

Bethany Cares, Inc. Golf Classic

The Golf Classic, originally scheduled for June 3 has been rescheduled (due to inclement weather) until July 8. Please call the church office if you need more details.

Jazz Vespers at Bethany Jazz at Bethany
The 13th season of Jazz Vespers has concluded, and the Committee extends a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who attended and participated to make this season spectacular! We will return for Season 14 on the first Saturday of October; but if you just can’t wait, please join us for 10am church service each Sunday during the month of August, when we will feature very special guest musicians from the Jazz community.
